BYD Seal U launches in Italy: price and service – Electric Cars

Milan Design Week is the stage for the Italian premiere of the BYD Seal U, the latest model in the Chinese brand’s Ocean range and the new D-segment electric SUV that was unveiled to the public at the Autotorino showroom in Piazza Duomo in Milan. The new BYD Seal U will be available in Italy with two trim levels, Comfort and Design, with prices starting at 42,890 euros.

Motor and battery

The BYD Seal U powertrain features a 160 kW high-power permanent magnet motor and a 71.8 kWh or 87 kWh battery with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The latest generation battery ensures a range of up to 700 km on a single charge. The shapes of this electric SUV were created following the product design language “Ocean Aesthetics”. BYD Seal U features an attractive X-shaped front with a rounded and curved design. U-shaped headlights fit into the bonnet, creating an attractive and unique identity unique to the Ocean Series, while dual lenses further enhance its high-tech look.
