BYD: The dream begins after a good year | BYD Austria

BYD ranks 4th in BEV registrations in Q1/2024 +++ 1.99% fixed interest lease for ATTO 3 +++ ETP3 electric panel car available as BYD’s first commercial vehicle in Austria.

Vienna (OTS) – After a good first year with 1,024 new registrations in 2023, BYD’s new registration numbers are also going well this year. “According to our brand name, we started the dream in the first quarter with 682 registrations and a market share of 1.1% in the general market and 6.3% in the battery electric sector.“, says Danijel Dzihic, Managing Director of BYD Austria. “Since November we have gained more than 1% of market share every month – which is impressive considering we started almost a year ago. And if April goes as well as the previous months, then we will match our results of last year in the second quarter.“

The success story currently depends on a broad portfolio and a good price-performance ratio, says Dzihic: “DOLPHIN, ATTO 3, SEAL U and SEAL are the best sellers and are very well received. Not only because the quality of the cars was a pleasant surprise during the test, but also because we can already offer a high-quality electric car in every segment at the price of a combustion engine. This combination makes us very unique, such as a permanent car factory in Hungary, which will be the first production facility of a Chinese manufacturer in Europe and in turn makes BYD a pioneer.“

ETP3: BYD’s first electric commercial vehicle is available from 19,400 euros

BYD will also now offer the best price-performance ratio in Austria in the area of electric commercial vehicles. BYD ETP3 – a panel car with a length of 4.46 m with 2 sliding doors, 3.5 cubic meters of loading volume and a maximum payload of more than 700 kg – is predestined for urban use as a service, equipment and utility vehicle assembly for service providers, technicians or EPUs who want to work in an environmentally friendly and cost-effective way. Dzihic: “With an original customer price of 19,400 euros including financing of 6,000 euros, we now have an affordable commercial vehicle offered at a combustion engine price that is suitable for all those who primarily travel within the city or on predictable routes.

1.99% fixed interest lease for ATTO 3 launched

In addition, the compact electric SUV ATTO 3 is available in both equipment types with an interest rate of 1.99% until the end of June. Dzihic: “We manage e-mobility at an affordable price like no other brand, and with fixed interest leasing we now have an attractive financing offer for corporate and personal customers.“
