Cupra is a young brand in the automotive world. The Spaniards decided to create it just six years ago, on February 22, 2018. The number of copies of two small versions of the flagship Cupra Formentor VZ5 corresponds to the date of the brand’s establishment (February 22). Production of the Century Bronze and Enceladus Gray Cupra Formentor VZ5 versions will be limited to 222 units.
Cupra Formentor VZ5 as unique as ever
What differentiates both versions are the new matte colors – Century Bronze Matt and Enceladus Gray Matt – and the original styling details. In Century Bronze these include: bronze mirror caps and carbon fiber exhaust tips. The 20-inch rims are also made of bronze alloy, although a black version is also available as an option. Cupra’s dark chrome emblems and brand logo also attract attention. Inside, passengers will find black CUPBucket seats.
The second version of the younger, Enceladus Grey, can be recognized not only by its characteristic color, but also by the dark chrome text and the Cupra logo. There are also black mirror caps and carbon fiber exhaust pipes, along with 20-inch black rims. Optionally, you can choose bronze rims. Here you will also find black CUPBucket seats and a black integrated dashboard.
Cupra Formentor VZ5 – powerful and probably not available for Poles
As befits limited editions, the recall of the Formentor VZ5 will not give you a reason to complain, also about the sensations provided while driving. Under the hood is the iconic 5-cylinder 2.5 TSI engine. The device delivers 287 kW (390 HP) and 480 Nm torque. Drive is transmitted through a dual-clutch DSG gearbox.
It is already known that both limited editions will be among the exclusives in the entire Cupra range. However, it is not known if any of the 222 units will be seen on Polish roads. The manufacturer has not yet confirmed whether new versions of Formentor will be released in Poland.
