Hennessey Cadillac Escalade-V: Luxury SUV with up to 1,019 hp

Hennessey Performance, a tuning specialist from Sealy (Texas), is bringing a new performance package to the market for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade V and calling it the H850 Escalade V. However, Hennessey maintains a subtle look.

860 hp in the basic package

The hypercar developer increases the output of the standard 6.2-liter V8 from 690 hp to around 860 hp at 6,200 revolutions. This corresponds to a 25 percent performance increase compared to the standard model. The maximum torque rises to 1,060 Nm at 4,600 rpm. Performance-enhancing measures for the H850 package include a new intake system, a revised compressor, flow-optimized cylinder heads, a new camshaft with new valves and an enlarged throttle valve as well as a new engine management system. There are optional 22-inch performance wheels in gloss or gloss black.

The Escalade V also has 1,019 hp

The H1000 Power version from Hennessey has been in production since the end of 2023. The starting point for the increased performance is the familiar 6.2-liter supercharged V8. In the basic version, the car already reaches 690 hp and 850 Nm of torque. To make the eight-cylinder engine more powerful, Hennessey gave it an advanced ventilation system, a new crankshaft, new pistons and connecting rods, revised cylinder heads and new camshafts and new valves on the intake and exhaust sides, with sports exhaust including high performance catalytic converters. With the interior completely turned inside out, the Escalade V finally leaves the Hennessey workshop with 1,019 hp and 1,196 Nm of torque.

The extra power is impressively displayed in the driving dynamics values. It goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour (about 96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds. For comparison: the basic model needs 4.4 seconds from 0 to 100.

A normal bed

Visually, the Hennessey Escalade remains completely reserved, because Texans continue to rely on a classic look. This also applies to interior design. You can’t tell the Escalade has more than 1,000 hp.

Those interested can buy the car with the H850 or H1000 package, which includes a three-year or 36,000-mile (about 58,000 km) warranty. Alternatively, any existing vehicle can be upgraded. Hennessey does not quote a price for the repair work.

Eyes!Performance!

Tuning specialist Hennessey brings the Cadillac Escalade-V up to 860 hp at 6,200 revolutions with its second performance package. The luxury SUV is at the top of its game when it comes to performance, but remains true to the base model both inside and out.
