ROME – Opel has revealed the first images of the new Frontera SUV that will be available from launch with a battery electric motor, with the possibility of choosing engines with 48-volt hybrid technology. The silhouette is characterized by smooth, rounded lines and a new “Blitz” logo ” begins on the model series in the middle of the black Vizor which gives the front a unique identity, harmoniously integrating the Eco LED lights and direct high beams.

From the side, a prominent C-pillar divides the large cabin, while pronounced wheel arches and fenders give the Frontera a strong and modern look.

In the passenger compartment, large horizontal decorations on the dashboard and doors are seen, as well as a Digital Clean Panel dashboard with two 10-inch displays and a multimedia information system, and a new steering wheel with integrated controls. An innovative smartphone center is available as an option which, via a dedicated app, becomes the vehicle’s information control panel, interacting with the steering wheel buttons.

The seats with different stitching are equipped with the patented Intelli-Seat function on the front seats and ensure maximum comfort even on long journeys. Then we find a cooled wireless charger with two USB ports on the front and two more are available on the second row to charge all mobile devices. With the rear seats in the normal position (split 60:40), the new SUV offers more than 460 liters of space in the boot and with the seats folded down, its capacity increases to 1,600 liters, with 200 kg more that it can be. transported on the roof with roof racks (optional).
