(Emobility Polestar News) The all-electric Polestar 4, “an innovative interpretation of the SUV coupé”, will be presented at seven Polestar Locations in Germany from April 17, 2024. The latest Polestar model can be viewed for the first time in Germany at Polestar locations in the city centers of Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart. It will complete the Swedish brand’s product portfolio in the future.

Polestar 4 combines the aerodynamics of a coupé and the space of an SUV in a new type of SUV coupé – this is possible by doing without a conventional rear window.

Design elements first seen in Polestar concept cars are realized in Polestar’s fastest production car to date. The most surprising feature is the deliberate omission of the rear window, which has been replaced by a camera and a digital interior mirror. Lt. Chief designer Maximilian Missoni said the absence of a rear window allows for better rear visibility and a more spacious interior, which ends at the back with a black wall.

It remains to be seen if the idea without a rear window will continue. In any case, it is not normal.

Sustainability in Polestar 4 manufacturing

The Polestar 4 has the lowest carbon footprint of all Polestar vehicles.

The Polestar 4 is available at a starting price of 61,900 euros. This makes the new model particularly attractive to those who qualify for company cars, who benefit from the increase in the tax subsidy limit for electric cars up to 70,000 euros.

Test drives in the Polestar 4 are expected to be possible in Space from the third quarter. The first delivery is also scheduled for August.
