Nissan Leaf as a bargain: an electric car for 27,687 euros

The actual price of the electric starter Nissan Leaf is currently 35,900 euros. The second generation of the 4.50-meter-long Japanese model offers plenty of everyday utility, comfort and an entry-level range of 270 kilometers. Nissan is now reducing the price for private customers to 27,687 euros until April 14, 2024, making the Leaf a bargain electricity.

If you decide to rent instead of buy until April, you can expect the same minimum rate of 219 euros per month. Both prices refer to the base version of the Nissan Leaf N-Connecta. It has a 39 kWh battery on the bottom and a 150 hp electric motor under the front cover. That is enough for acceleration values ​​of 7.9 seconds to 100 km/h and a top speed of 144 km/h.

Bigger batteries are a little more expensive

The Nissan Leaf is also available with a larger 59 kWh battery and more power (217 hp). This increases the WLTP range to 375 km and the top speed to 157 km/h. However, the discount campaign does not apply to this top model. It still costs at least 41,100 euros.

Unlike its electric big brother Ariya, Nissan continues to use the Japanese ChadeMO charging standard for the Leaf. It charges a maximum of 50 kW on a fast charger, but only a maximum of 3.6 kW over one phase in a home wall box. Compared to the most modern electric vehicles, this data seems a bit outdated. Anyone who can live with him will receive an electric car suitable for everyday use at a discounted price.
