Renault reveals the name of its new SUV coupe

The French brand has announced that its latest model, a sloping roof SUV intended as a mid-to-high-end vehicle, will be called the Renault Rafale. The name is not accidental and refers to the history of the French brand, specifically the 1930s, when Renault developed aircraft engines. The model announced will lead the D segment in the French brand portfolio. The preview of the new Renault Rafale will take place on June 18 in Le Bourget, France, during the opening of the 54th International Aerospace Exhibition. The vehicles are part of a contract sponsored by the city of Krakow for the supply of electric passenger and transport vehicles for the needs of municipal units and companies in Krakow. Megane E-Tech electric cars will be used by individuals, companies, cultural centers and city museums to perform public works. Among the models that will drive the electric fleet of the Krakow Municipality, there will be 27 Megane E-Tech electric in horizontal trim in alpine white and 19 in schiste gray. These are electric Megane E-Tech EV60 220 HP with a range of 450 km (according to WLTP).

That’s when you could admire with your own eyes a boat of more than 13 meters capable of making 30 knots without any smoke. Two 100 kW electric motors convert 240 kWh of energy supplied by six batteries from the BMW i3, enabling it to cover more than 50 nautical miles. Operating speed is 24 knots, maximum speed: 30 knots (55 km / h). On board, the Dolby Atmos system should deliver an impressive soundtrack.
