Fiori di Cadillac announces album and releases new song “Largo Barbuti”

“Largo Barbuti”, the new song by Fiori di Cadillac of the Boc Music Group distributed by Altafonte, will be available from tomorrow, Friday 12 April, on all digital platforms. The song, along with the songs that preceded it since the end of 2023 – all with music production by Frank Sativa – will be part of the upcoming album.

The duo of Salerno composed of Luigi Salvio and Valerio Vicinanza were inspired by a public place in their city to imagine a situation in which music and above all the public opinion about it are concerned: “Largo Barbuti – describes the duo – describes a conversation between two friends who one , although he understands the reason, he urges the other not to let himself go, not to exaggerate, not to take it from the world around him, even if it is not fair. The title of the piece was inspired by Largo Barbuti, a square in Salerno, and we thought that one evening, during a festival of artists foreign, one of these two friends rebelled against the indifference of those present, the indifference and indifference of the audience faced by the apparent beauty of the music and the musicians on stage. Exaggerating, insulting everyone, shouting with suffocating and indescribable rage, the two In the text we ask ourselves how much it is right to rebel, or perhaps it is more appropriate to remain silent, to accept the outdated systems of a sleeping society and a culture that is destined to completely collapse. I FIORI DI CADILLAC was born in 2010 in Salerno as a trio but is currently a duo composed of Luigi Salvio (1986) and Valerio Vicinanza (1988). The name of the stage is inspired by Cadillac Sur Garonne, a small village in France where, during the pro-Nazi regime of Vichy, more than four thousand people considered “different” were buried, crazy for some, a rare flower for the band that they, as . All people who preserve the diversity of value, dedicate his name. The music of Cadillac Flowers is provided through piano, synthed voices, guitar and drums. At the end of 2013 the group released their first album, “Cartoline”, followed by a long tour in clubs and national festivals. In 2017 he started work on writing a new album together with Giulio Ragno Favero. Andrea Suriani also collaborates on the album, which consists of 9 songs, with Favero in production and mixing. During this period, Fiori di Cadillac signed INRI which, in the first months of 2020, released their second album, “Fuori dalla storia”. After shelving the album early due to the Covid emergency, the duo, after a hiatus, began releasing new songs under the artistic direction of Frank Sativa and returned to life in 2023 and then released new music consecutively in 2024.
