SP-X/Frankfurt. With two concept cars, Genesis will showcase what’s next for the brand at the 2024 New York International Auto Show (March 29 to April 7). The Neolun concept is an upright, electric SUV that is positioned above the GV60 and is likely to be an offshoot of the G90 flagship SUV. This study stands out thanks to its swiveling front seats and floor heating. The doors also have electrically extendable door sills. Hyundai’s luxury subsidiary does not release any information about the drivetrain and technical configuration. Since the SUV uses the Hyundai-Kia Group’s Global Modular Electric Platform, a 100 kWh battery and 283 kW/385 hp all-wheel drive like the Kia EV9 can be used.

With the GV60 Magma Concept, Genesis presents another model from its high-performance Magma division. A close study of the production shows the GV60 visually, which offers, among other things, bucket seats and backrests in body color in the interior. Genesis does not provide any information about the technology, but it is likely that the Hyundai Ioniq N technology layout with 478 kW/650 hp will be adopted.
