The restoring force can be adjusted on the steering wheel; Driving with one pedal, i.e. driving in which the car decelerates so much when you lift the accelerator pedal that the brake remains unused, is impossible – this can be easier for electric PCs: they usually drive horizontally.

Three different versions with an electric car

The range of electric vehicles includes the e-3008 front-wheel drive with 213 hp and 73 kWh battery with a theoretical range of 527 km, an all-wheel drive model with two electric motors and 320 hp, 73 kWh battery and range of 525 km, and long-range -Model with 230 hp and 98 kWh battery for a distance of 700 km.

However, the average consumption of 13.9 kWh/100 that the range is based on could not be reached for the 213 hp model during preliminary tests near Rüsselsheim. It can be charged at a maximum rate of 160 kW. In fact, a range of 100 km can be increased in ten minutes. A typical charge from 20 to 80% takes about half an hour. A heat pump is standard on all e-3008s.

Apart from the electric-only variants, the 3008 is also available as a hybrid (136 hp petrol engine and 21 hp electric motor). Price: from 39,250 euros for the hybrid 3008, from 48,650 euros for the cheapest e-3008.
