Rolls-Royce is celebrating its 120th anniversary with the Ghost Prism limited edition

Rolls-Royce customers who work in the modern world of design typically use their professional instincts as well as their personal feelings for their orders with the British manufacturer. Given the close relationship of the brand’s designers with them, they anticipated the need for an aesthetic movement and created the Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism features dark, neutral tones that are cleverly accented with bright color accents. It is this contrast between solid form and bright, spectral hues that inspired the name Ghost Prism.

The end of this limited edition distinguishes it from other cars with different specifications. Instead of the usual stainless steel finish, the car’s grille and the shiny elements of the rear cover are first done in “Burning” color, a smoke-black shade. To achieve this effect, each piece of metal is prepared by hand by the brand’s craftsmen. After curing, these parts are polished directly to ensure that they match the luster of the car body. The glossy elements of the front bumper and side profile have a glossy black finish.

Limited edition limited to 120 copies

Customers also have a choice of four different colors to enhance the advertising of their choice (Phoenix Red, Turquoise, Mandarin and Forge Yellow) and create the desired eye-catching contrast. An additional selected color is used for the lower bumper inserts, brake calipers and body line.

These subtle touches of color eventually extend to the interior of the car and in particular to the 1,040 colored “stars” of the specially designed Starlight headliner, each of these stars are individually placed on the leather canvas through hand-punched holes.

The model presented by Rolls-Royce is done in a shade of “Gunmetal” gray produced in a rigorous 10-step process during which four layers of paint are carefully applied, then polished by hand for 16 hours.

The Goodwood manufacturer has not specified the price of this limited edition Rolls-Royce Ghost Prism, powered by a 6.6-liter V12 unit with 570 hp and 780 Nm created for the British brand, which celebrates this year.
