MRF tire development work continues for Paolo Andreucci, who next weekend will be at the start of the Piedmont Regional Championship, the second round of the Italian Absolute Rally Sparco Championship, scheduled for 11 to 13 April.

The representative of Rosario Montalbano’s Ro racing team will start the asphalt race at the wheel of the Citroen C3 Rally2 of the Turbocar Sport Italia Team and will be accompanied, as usual, by the trusted and expert sailor Rudy Briani. The MRF Trophy Italia terra, a trophy reserved for dirt road professionals, has achieved great success and in its first edition can count on the participation of more than 20 crews.

“Our development and testing work continues with MRF Tires – commented Paolo Andreucci -. This past weekend we were also supposed to start the Val d’Orcia Championship, the second event of the Italian dirt track championship, but unfortunately the car that we had to participate it was not in time. In the Piedmont Regional Championship we will be at the beginning with the Citroen C3 Rally2 of the Turbocar Sport Italia Team to continue the development process of MRF Tires. Already from the first races of the Championship, Ciocco and Valle del Serchio Rally, we collected very important data and even during the race we made a tire choice that went in that direction and that allowed us to collect important data. We are an important part of a great team and together with the engineer Fiorenzo Brivio we work to present the most progressive products.

On Friday 12 engines started with a shakedown set in Seirole and reserved for priority workers and participants in qualifications (Rally 2/R5 cars). The starting ceremony will be held in Alba at 3 pm as a prelude to the start of the challenge with the “power stage” followed live on television by Rai Sport and Aci Sport Sky platforms.
