The new Citroen C3 is coming. This long-awaited model will be shown for the first time in the summer. The third-generation Citroën C3 was with us for seven years, undergoing several facelifts during that time. The new Citroen C3 breaks away from the appearance of its predecessor and its distinguishing features will be a modern silhouette, strong and decisive, high comfort and a good price.

In addition to combustion versions, there will be a 100% electric version. It will have a battery that will allow it to travel up to 300 km in urban conditions, which means that the manufacturer has chosen a battery smaller than 50 kWh, which is possible due to the lightweight construction of the vehicle, designed specifically for EVs. solution. It is also possible that we will see at least two battery capacities, a budget one – mentioned above – and a more expensive one for long range.

“The new Citroën e-C3 will easily stand out for its high comfort and low price. Released in Europe, and more precisely in Slovakia, it will offer a range of more than 300 kilometers, and all this at a price below EUR 25,000 in the version basic. There will also be a version with better equipment, which will compete with cars like Renault 5 and Volkswagen ID.2,” revealed Thierry Koskas, head of Citroën.

A battery smaller than 50 kWh is almost guaranteed, because Citroën firmly announces that the price will be less than 25,000 euros (without subsidies), so it had to save somewhere.
