Chevrolet has signaled the imminent arrival of another iteration of its performance flagship, the Corvette ZR1, with a 20-second teaser video posted to YouTube overnight.

Spied multiple times during recent pre-production testing, we already know the ZR1 retains the Z06 exhaust over its rear diffuser and the incredible aero treatment includes a massive rear wing, deep front splitter and flares. (or swirls) on the lower edges of the nose to manage vortices past the front wheel wells.

Combining that aero efficiency with the hybrid’s massive muscle and accelerating from 0-100km/h in the sub-2.0 second bracket is a near certainty.
