Citroen AMI has taken over the brand’s showroom. Customers want to buy this car

The Citroen AMI, a two-seater electric car with a low price and basic functionality, is becoming increasingly popular. The demand for small cars is so high that it is difficult to buy them. Maybe this is the answer why they are not available in showrooms in Poland.

Citroen AMI

Citroen AMI is 2,410 mm long, 1,390 mm wide and 1,525 mm tall. Under the hood there is a small 8 HP electric motor that provides a speed of up to 45 km / h. It is limited to electronic and, according to people who removed the lock, if necessary, AMI accelerates to more than 70 km / h. The battery has a capacity of 5.5 kWh, which provides – in normal driving – a range of approximately 75 km.

In several Western countries, Ami is sold mainly by subscription. The price of a new one from the showroom is about 9,000 euros. The manufacturer himself calls this car an anti-comformist: “AMI continues Citroën’s tradition of constantly contributing to the evolution of the automotive environment.” – says the brand.

Citroen AMI Buggy – right pop (limited edition)

The car has recently been sold in the UK. Due to its small width, the manufacturer did not plan to change the position of the steering wheel – instead, the car has a European place.

In addition to the regular versions, you can occasionally buy a Citroën AMI in a limited edition, such as the AMI Buggy presented above. These types of offers are priced up to double the regular price.

AMI is not officially released in Poland yet, although this may change in the future. At the moment, interest in Western countries is very high, cars are decreasing.
