Citroen C3 Aircross: a small SUV for a large family

Citroën is reorganizing its range of small cars: In addition to the modern C3 as an economical city car, the French have now also announced the new C3 Aircross, which will go on sale in the second half of the year.

Compared to its predecessor, the compact SUV is expected to grow significantly and stretch to 4.39 meters. Because the wheelbase is also long, it provides space for an optional third row of seats and is convenient for large families.

How much should a small with a lot of space cost?

The French also want to consider this need when it comes to price and promise a good entry point. Because they don’t release any figures yet, we’re still looking at the Fiat 600, which is technically closely related but slightly smaller and starts at 24,990 euros – but with a more complex drive.

Like all new models from the Stellantis family, the C3 Aircross is based on a system that allows a variety of alternative driving modes. The car will be available either with an electric motor for an average of less than 30,000 euros, as a hybrid like the Fiat 600 or as a pure combustion engine, Citroen announced.
