“Infinite Borders” presents a journey, consisting of watercolor and mosaic studies, on the theme of knowledge and how man lives in relation to it.
On the one hand, indeed, man feels the need to understand the world around him, but on the other hand he collides with the limitations of his own mind which does not give him the certainty of the truth of what he grasped.

Because of this, new questions arise and the frontier of knowledge itself is constantly changing.

In this series the idea of ​​limits is seen in a positive sense, in the manner of the philosopher Kant. A border separates us from more than we can sense but don’t fully understand. At least for now.

Livio Savioli is currently a teacher of theory and practice of form and color at the International School of Graphics in Venice and art director of Liquid Diamond in Padua. Since 2017 he has shown in the artistic field with individual and collective exhibitions also at the international level.
