Cupra Formentor in endurance test: interim report

Spain? Olé – Cupra Formentor 2.0 TDI 4Drive has been playing Flamenco in the AUTO ZEITUNG endurance test group since 2023. This was evident in the first 24,000 km!

More than 24,000 km so far, the Cupra Formentor 2.0 TDI 4Drive, which is about to be overhauled, has been bringing us every time we go on a quiet road. Not an unusual effect: the Spaniard requested 0.75 liters of fuel at 11,590 mileage, and ten liters of AdBlue had to be added at 14,707 mileage. We like that

The engine is impressive with stable torque, pulling power and efficiency as well as pleasant low consumption. The Cupra Formentor 2.0 TDI 4Drive diesel engine has so far averaged 6.5 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers – despite all-wheel drive.

That’s annoying

The steering system, which is slow and clumsy in many areas, is annoying, as are the unwieldy, unlit sliders for adjusting the temperature and the reading light on the passenger side that occasionally turns on by itself. After disabling the lane departure warning system, the instrument display also remains in auxiliary mode.
