Cupra Formentor VZ5 with extension kit from JE Design!

The Spanish crossover Cupra Formentor continues to be popular, especially since the Cupra got the five-cylinder from the Audi RS3. By combining a powerful engine with a small number of Formentor even sports, which carries the acronym VZ5 accordingly, Cupra has created a real attraction. And the tuning workshop JE DESIGN from Leingarten, known as the Cupra sports car specialist, would like to get a lot more from the VZ5. JE DESIGN has developed some special parts for the VZ5 and combined them with existing components from the Formentor upgrade program.

Cupra Formentor VZ5 Widebody

The striking visual changes of the Formentor with a power of 390 hp are achieved by widening the wheel arches on the front and rear axles, which give the car a significant shoulder area and create more space in the wheel arches. This means that rims with a size of up to 10 × 21 inches can be installed. However, the best combination of aesthetics, performance and comfort is made possible by the JE DESIGN performance wheel in 10×20 and in glossy black.

This special rim is made using lightweight flow forming technology and weighs only 13.6 kg. Tire choice is between 255/35 R20 or 265/30 R20 format. And for fans of the famous Cupra copper model, JE DESIGN has the RubÍ Copper-R rim in 9×20 inches and 265/30 R20 tires at the start. The optional suspension springs, which offer almost 35 mm more depth, also allow the aluminum to sit well in the wheel arch. Pathfinder also recommends wheel spacers from the local portfolio for a 9×20-inch Rubí Copper-R rim with 35 spokes.

Roof spoiler and central air duct

To successfully complete the customization program, JE DESIGN equips the rear of the Formentor with a large roof spoiler with a central air duct (V with two wings) and a three-part rear spoiler lip on the trunk lid to provide more strength . Incidentally, corresponding component certificates or EC approvals are issued for all components to facilitate hassle-free registration.
