The Lilac Flag has been confirmed for the Municipality of Cupra Marittima

CUPRA MARITTIMA – Starting at 2 p.m., the Bellini room at booth number 21 was painted lilac and hosted a seminar called “PEBA+S participation” held by Geom. Nello Veloce, a specialist with over twenty years of experience in the field of physical and mental accessibility. Finally, the Lilac Flag award ceremony was held.

Il Director of Bandiera Lilla Dr. Alessandro Fiore briefly presented the future Cooperative programs and new services that will be implemented in early 2024. Following President Roberto Bazzano remembered what it means to be the Municipality of Lille, emphasizing what Bandiera Lilla expects from the Municipality, but also what it gives them and how to make good use of corporate services. Then the president opened the delivery ceremony by bringing to the municipality of Lille the greetings of the Minister of Disability Hon Alessandra Locatelli and the Minister of Tourism Hon and best wishes.

The municipalities were called to the stage in alphabetical order and received a certificate of recognition and a Lilac Flag from the hands of President Bazzano, while the most important images of each awarded municipality moved on the screen. Among the awarded Municipalities, also the Municipality of Cupra Marittima.

It is the recognition of the way made by the Administration that aims to create policies that focus on people with disabilities. With the approval of PEBA+S, currently under construction, Cupra Marittima will be a city ready to welcome everyone, giving everyone the opportunity to use every space to the fullest of its potential. More recognition for the city on the Riviera delle Palme, is increasingly attentive to accessibility in improving its tourist offer.
