Cupra: more pep for the Formentor VZ5

The success of the Spanish crossover coupe Cupra Formentor VZ5 is remarkable; mainly because the Cupra was able to get a 5-cylinder engine from the Audi shelf. For this category, Formentor even more sports have been launched in limited quantities. In addition, the repair company wanted to go one step further. So some parts were developed specifically for the VZ5 and supplemented with existing parts from the Formentor upgrade program.

Big wheels make an impact

Je Design achieves the most eye-catching changes in the 390 hp Formentor with wheel arch extensions on the front and rear axles. They give the car a wider shoulder area and provide more space in the wheel arches. Thanks to the new space available, wheels up to 10 x 21 inches in size can now be mounted. The 10″ x 20″ performance wheel in gloss black is manufactured using a lightweight flow forming technique and therefore weighs only 13.6 kg.

Roof spoiler and reducer

With a draft of about 35 mm, the suspension springs ensure that the wheels are well seated. Especially with the Rubi Copper R rim and offset 35, the tuner recommends expanding the track from the internal portfolio. To complete the customization program, a large roof spoiler with an air duct and a three-part rear spoiler lip ensure maximum downforce at the rear of the Formentor. To ensure trouble-free registration, part certificates corresponding to EC approvals are issued for all parts. The router also provides the necessary certificates for Switzerland.
