In Germany, Europe’s largest market, Dacia recorded 13.2% growth at the end of the first quarter. . Between January and March 2024, German customers registered 18,563 Dacia cars, resulting in a market share of 2.7%, up from 2.3% in the same period last year. Thus, Dacia beat brands such as Citroen (2.3%), Fiat (2.3%), Kia (2.5%), Peugeot (2.1%) and Suzuki (1%).

According to data from the French association CCFA, the Dacia brand registered 39,454 units of new cars in France at the end of the first three months of 2024, an increase of 2.1%. This is despite the fact that the French registered 9.2% less Dacia cars in March than in the same month of 2023.

For its part, on the Italian market, Dacia recorded the highest growth among the five main European markets in the first quarter of 2024. With 27,811 units registered, the brand grew by 13.3%, reaching a market share of 6.2%. This share exceeds brands such as Citroen (5.4%), Ford (4.5%), Hyundai (3%), Jeep (4.6%), Kia (2.7%), Lancia (2.9%), Opel (3%) or Peugeot ( 5.4%), and even the big sister of the group, Renault (4.6%).

Also in England The Romanian brand had a positive result, registering 8,325 units, representing an increase of 9.9%.

In the period January-March 2024 in Spain Dacia recorded an increase of 2.4%, to 11,890 units sold. In addition to this growth, the Iberian market also brought good news for the Romanian brand. Sandero tops the list of models registered in the first three months of the year, with 7,161 units. The top five models registered in Spain are completed by Toyota Corolla (6,187 units), Nissan Qashqai (6,175 units), Hyundai Tucson (5,256 units) and Seat Arona (5,129 units).
