The cheapest Dacia Sandero City 2024 – with air conditioning and very low price. What? | French.pl

Dacia Sandero City 2024 is the cheapest version of the popular city car in Europe. The car has its own air conditioning and the manufacturer offers it at a very low price of EUR 8,900. How is this possible?

Dacia Sandero City is a slightly simplified version of the popular hatchback. It is offered exclusively in Romania and is set to be released as part of the government’s Rabla initiative, which aims to replace old cars with new, more environmentally friendly and safer ones. Unlike the support programs for electric cars, Rabla also allows you to buy cars with low CO2 emissions. These criteria are met by the Dacia Sandero City, specially developed for customers.

In the most favorable version of government subsidies, Dacia Sandero City will be available for EUR 8,900, or PLN 38,900. The car’s specifications include manual air conditioning, cruise control, Media Control with phone connectivity and 15-inch rims. This cheapest version of Dacia is powered by a Sce 65 petrol engine with a 5-speed gearbox. manual and 65 HP. Without support from the Rabla program, the price is 12,400 euros.

Our opinion: The Romanian idea to support the purchase of new cars was preceded by consultations and calculations regarding the costs of maintaining the old car fleet. Replacing cars with new ones allows, on the one hand, to reduce the burden on the environment, and on the other hand, it also increases road safety. The fact that Romania supports the local automotive industry in this way was also important. This type of program certainly makes more sense than subsidizing electric cars, which are cars for wealthy customers.

Of course, there is still the question of the style of support – subsidies force taxes to rise, or perhaps it would be more profitable to reduce them and enable society to get money more efficiently and more easily. Then the politicians would have nothing to “give”.
