Citroen introduces new warranty terms: up to 10 years and 200,000 km

Since its inception more than a century ago, Citroën has been known for putting comfort above all else. From this philosophy the Citroën Assurance program was born. It is currently being introduced in Spain.

For Citroën, comfort goes far beyond convenience on board: it’s a way of life. Double Chevron extends peace of mind and peace of mind that spans the entire range to after-sales service. Citroen customers are protected against mechanical breakdowns for up to 10 years or 200,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), as long as the recommended annual service is carried out through the Official Citroen Service Network.
The Citroën Peace of Mind program, supported by RACE, addresses certain component faults such as the engine block, timing, gearbox and gearbox.
Thanks to this program, Citroën Tranquility lives up to its name, ensuring constant monitoring of the vehicle’s condition, anticipating potential incidents and breakdowns.

“Nothing is ever so easy. From April 2024, our customers will be able to benefit from this service for 1 year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, when their vehicle is serviced on the Official Citroën Network. In this way, they will be able to combine successive program extensions until the vehicle reaches 10 years or 200,000 km.” – informs the producer.

Citroën Tranquility is a plan for everyone. Customers who have not had their Citroen serviced on the Official Citroen Network can also benefit from this program. All they need to do is make another positive check at Citroën Official Service and they can enjoy the benefits of the program.

Citroën Tranquility is available free of charge for Citroen combustion engine vehicles for private use that have been registered for more than 3 years and less than 10 years and have not traveled more than 200,000 km. Covers vehicles without a service contract or with a valid contract for less than 9 months.
The components covered by Citroen Tranquility include the basic components of the engine block, cylinder head, camshaft, gearbox and gearbox, as well as the necessary water for their operation. It deals with their repair or, where appropriate, replacement.

The program was launched in Spain.
