New Citroen cheaper in Germany than in Poland! The differences are surprising French.pl

Citroen has announced its new German retail prices. The difference from those offered in Poland amounts to PLN 35,000 for basic models.

What happens when a car manufacturer has two completely different pricing policies in two neighboring countries? In Poland, Citroen has a high retail price and offers very high discounts. There are almost no discounts in Germany, but retail prices already take into account possible discounts that you may receive. As a result, the difference between the prices of individual models is large – for the cheapest C3 model it is equal to PLN 20,000 and for the comfortable SUV, ie C5 Aircross, it is more than PLN 30,000.

German prices in Euro converted at the exchange rate of PLN 4.36 to 1 Euro are the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices and include VAT and transport charges.

Our opinion: w Citroen showrooms in Poland Currently there is a sale going on, giving a big discount on the retail price, up to PLN 50,000, depending on the model, but this is probably the first time in history that there is such a big difference in the retail price between individual countries. Citroën, as well as Stellantis in general, should rethink its policy and its consistency at the European level. In the internet age, comparing prices takes minutes and there is a wide range of prices.
