Vehicle recalls 2024: See the complete list of 131K Ford, Daimler Truck, Chrysler, Jeep and other recalled vehicles


National Highway Transportation Safety Administration is recalling several types of vehicles over the past few weeks.

Those recalled include 131,000 vehicles, including Ford, Daimler Trucks, Chrysler, Jeep, Aston Martin and Hyundai.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin issued a recall for 2,902 of its 2021-2024 DBX vehicles due to broken electrical wires in the battery fuse box, according to NHTSA. This can cause the engine to stall, or cause the headlights or power steering to malfunction, increasing the risk of an accident.

Aston Martin dealers will check fuses and cables and replace them, if necessary, free of charge.

Owners should receive a notification letter regarding the return of the letter by April 22nd.

Daimler truck

Daimler truck North America issued a recall for 29,092 of its vehicles due to a defect with the axle wheel flanges that can cause tire damage and increase the risk of an accident. according to NHTSA.

The following vehicles were recalled:

  • 2023 Freightliner 122SD
  • 2023-2024 Freightliner 108SD
  • 2023-2024 Freightliner 114SD
  • 2023-2024 Freightliner Business Class M2
  • 2023-2024 Freightliner Cascadia
  • 2024 Western Star 57X

The company is still in the process of resolving this issue. Return notification letters should be sent to owners by mail on June 2.

Hyundai

Hyundai issued a recall for 18,206 of its 2024 Santa Fe vehicles due to a rearview camera problem that could obstruct the driver’s view and cause an accident or injury. according to NHTSA.

The company will update the rearview camera software for the affected vehicles free of charge. Owners should expect to be notified of the reinstatement by email around June 1st.

Jeep

Chryslerparent company Jeep, recalled 12,221 of its 2022 Jeep Cherokee vehicles because the auto-cancelling feature may not work properly, according to NHTSA.

If there are problems with the turn signals, it can increase the risk of an accident.

Those with affected vehicles can get them expected and if necessary, mechanics will replace the steering column control free of charge. Owners should receive notification of the recall by May 17.

Chrysler

Chrysler recalled 26,776 2024 Pacifica and Voyager vehicles due to a malfunctioning control system problem, according to NHTSA. Problems with this system can increase the risk of an accident.

Dealers will update the system at no cost to owners. Owners should expect to receive notification in the mail about the recall on May 17.

Ford

Ford is recalling about 42,652 vehicles due to a problem with cracked fuel injectors because they can cause gas leaks, increasing the risk of engine fires.

The following vehicles are being recalled:

  • 2022-2023 Bronco Sport
  • 2022 Escape

According to NHTSAThere is a federal investigation into this recall, and owners of affected vehicles can take their vehicles to any Ford or Lincoln dealer to have a drain hose installed in the vehicle at no charge.
