The Huracan had an accident on Saturday evening shortly after 11pm on the Goethesteig in the city center and skidded into custody. It is still unclear why the 21-year-old driver lost control of the luxury car. The car left the road to the right, skidded and fell under the guard. The young man behind the wheel and his passenger were not injured. However, the sports car, which cost around 200,000 euros, was a complete loss.

The 21-year-old had a valid driver’s license and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. An investigation into an administrative offense was initiated, it was said.

A note of clarity: An earlier version of the text stated the time of the crash as Sunday morning. That has been changed. The accident happened on Saturday evening after 11 pm.
