Delaware County Kennel Club, Inc. – Saturday, March 18, 2023

The Delaware County Kennel Club, Inc. held its annual canine exhibition on Saturday, March 18, 2023. The event, which comprises of a variety of competitions, showcases the accomplishments of purebred dogs from around the world.

The day commenced with a judging of the puppies, followed by a special event for the top-ranked canines. The competition was divided into two sections: Conformation and Obedience. In the Conformation division, the contestants were assessed on their physical characteristics, structure, and overall appearance.

The Obedience division, meanwhile, tested the dogs’ skills in a variety of commands, such as retrieving, heeling, and jumping. This portion of the event also included a rally course, which was especially challenging for the participants.

The exhibition concluded with a Best in Show award, given to the dog deemed most outstanding by the judges. The winner, a Labrador Retriever, earned the highest score in the Obedience category and wowed the crowd with its agility and precision.
