Citroen is not lucky with its site in Poland. It seems as if no one was in control of what was happening there. In addition to pricing errors, there are also technical errors that bring the brand into disrepute.

Citroën’s Polish website frequently presents incorrect information about offers and prices. There are also problems with the translation, sometimes the French text appears instead of the Polish one.

The latest brand accident concerns the new Citroën Berlingo. First, the banner on the main page refers to a page that does not exist – the famous 404 error This was fixed after a few days (with a signal from our side). Now there is another problem. Both combustion and electric versions are “priced” at PLN 177,200, which is obviously not true. The reason? Perhaps there is no price list yet and someone entered a large amount without thinking about the consequences.

Today, a car brand’s website is more than just an advertising brochure. Many customers get information about offers from it and make decisions about going to the salon or not. Mistakes such as in the Berlingo case directly affect dealers and sales levels, because it is easy to imagine a situation where a disappointed customer simply goes to the competition and never returns to Citroën.

Citroën Berlingo Combustion – and versions with gasoline and diesel engines will be available (!) It does not cost PLN 177,200, but much less. But how does the customer know about this?

There are also technical problems with the website. To this day – despite reporting – Citroën has not fixed the error related to browser recognition and Macbook owners will not see the standard version of the website in the Safari browser, only the mobile version, which is therefore unreadable and of little use.

And even if many people today look at the site from mobile phones, this is still not a reason to allow such mistakes.
