The Rolls-Royce Ghost and Range Rover receive hatch covers from Vossen

It sounds very modern to call rims ‘thick pit covers’, but they are actually historically accurate. Mercedes has been offering hatch covers for models for a few decades now, in good German too gullideckel name Rim farmer Vossen’s interpretation is, as you might expect, much more fun than the old rim.

They are officially called UV-7 and look good on the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Range Rover – if you like this kind of modification. The rim size is no less than 24 inches. Vossen also has a 22 inch Rolls-Royce version. According to supplier Urban Automotive, the wheels ‘enhance the Spirit’s appearance’.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Urban Automotive ahead

Urban Automotive has made many modifications to the RaRo and RR. You can already guess in what material these changes have been made. Sure, there’s a mountain of carbon fiber replacements to make cars wider and stiffer. We mention the splitter, front and rear bumper, grille and diffuser. One modification is not made of carbon: the Milltek exhaust system has aluminum pipes.

You can order them in two flavors: in the black color ‘Satin Black’ or in the silver color called ‘Light Smoke’. Urban only tells customers what the thick hood covers and other expensive modifications to the Range Rover and Rolls-Royce Ghost. Probably more expensive than the ‘Gullideckel’ under your old Mercedes SL.
