Drilling from the Chimo Mine project confirms deep continuity below the Nordeau Ouest deposit

VAL-D’OR, Quebec, Jan. 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cartier Resources Inc. (TSX-V: ECR) (“Cartier”) announces the results of drilling, carried out under the Nordeau Ouest deposit, which is located on the Cadillac East property within the Chimo Mine gold system (FIGURE) These two related properties, whose interests are 100% owned by Cartier, are located 45 kilometers east of the Val-d’Or mining camp.

The results obtained from the laboratory so far, for the current drilling program in the Nordeau Ouest deposit area, are as follows.

• Inside of Eastern part of Nordeau Ouest gite (Gold Belt 5NE2)wells yielded values ​​of 4.4 g/t Or more than 6.5 m is included in 2.3 g/t Or more than 23.0 m and values ​​of 2.1 g/t Or more than 14.0 m (FIGURE)

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Cartier includes in the batches of samples sent to the laboratory, 5% of the number of samples in the form of approved standards and the other 5% in the form of sterile samples to ensure quality control. The samples are analyzed in the Techni-Lab (Actlabs) laboratory, located in Ste-Germaine-Boul, Quebec, Canada.
