New DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 300 HP: service point due to tire wear

The DS Automobiles brand announced a service campaign for the DS 7 Crossback model on the French market. The campaign is about excessive tire wear in cars with the 300 HP E-Tense hybrid version.

Excessive tire wear in the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense forced model DS cars is an advertisement for a fashion renovation campaign on the French market. Owners of the more powerful, 300-horsepower version of the E-Tense with 19-inch Michelin tires are called in for service. On the French market, the campaign covered 3,800 units of the SUV. DS Automobiles will solve that problem by using new rims that will be changed to 235 mm wide tires instead of 205 mm. During the replacement, a software update will also be necessary to adapt the SUV to the changes. The service campaign does not apply to weak hybrid versions and cars with petrol and diesel engines.

The replacement will take four hours and is done free of charge at authorized service centers of the brand. At the moment, there are no details of this move for the Polish market. This year, the DS Automobiles brand has already recalled DS 7 Crossback owners to service due to a defect in the curtain airbags. In Poland, the case concerned 110 articles.
