The winner receives a special prize as part of the DTM race weekend in Lausitzring: after winning the title of five best runners, Kevin Siggy immediately receives a seat at the DTM Trophy talent factory. The DTM Trophy competition will be held alongside GT sports cars on the DTM professional platform “When I heard my name, I couldn’t believe it. It’s lovely. The dream has come true! ”, The Slovenian cheered after the victory.

“DTM is amazing, loud, all spectators – I can’t wait to drive in the DTM Cup in this beautiful setting next season,” exclaims Siggy.

Kevin Siggy, who has been running sim racing for more than a decade, moved to the Netherlands from his native Slovenia in 2016 to compete for the Redline Team. He has scored many victories over the years, including winning the DTM Esports Tournament on April 28. Siggy dominated the championship by winning seven times in twelve races.

Exciting shots in two parts

In addition to the ousted DTM Esports Moritz Löhner (GER), Gianmarco Fiduci (ITA), Florian Hasse (GER) and Leonard Krippner (GER) also qualified for a two-part shootout on the Red Bull Ring and Lausitzring. Previously, the quintet showed off their driving skills in the BMW M2 CS and BMW M4 Races (which are also used in the DTM Racing). A week later it went to Lausitzring. In addition to driving skills, a jury comprising Philipp Eng, Drs. Thomas Fell (DTM Medical Member) and media coach Maren Braun also value the balance (including stress level) and media skills of young drivers.
