DTM support program in the 2024 / DTM season

ADAC GT Masters, ADAC GT4 Germany, LMP3 cars, one-off cups, formula racing and historic motorsport – DTM fans can expect top-level support racing in the 2024 season.

DTM fans can look forward to an exciting season: at eight events this year, the series will be the stage for an impressive motorcycle program. ADAC GT Masters will be presented on the broadest stage four times, and ADAC GT4 Germany will participate in DTM six times. Spectators will see luxury LMP3 cars in the German Model Cup. The Porsche Carrera Cup and the BMW M2 Cup ensure a fast one-man cup action. With its 40th anniversary season in mind, DTM Classic presents itself as a motorsport museum. The European Alpine Region Formula Championship is the only formula series to be a newcomer to the DTM this year. The support program is completed by the NXT Gen Cup – the world’s first ever electric junior touring car series, which starts at least twice as part of the DTM.

Tickets for all DTM events in 2024 are available from just 39 euros at dtm.com. Children and young people under the age of 16 can even attend for free when accompanied by an adult. ADAC members also benefit from a ten percent discount on pre-sales online. All ticket holders have free access to the paddock and DTM Fan Areas.

ADAC GT Masters
With a new direction and plenty of talent, the ADAC GT Masters begins its 18th season at the DTM opener in Oschersleben (April 26 to 28). The already established premium manufacturers of Audi, BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche have been joined by two of the world’s most famous sports car brands: Aston Martin and Ferrari. The new class structure will put more emphasis on young talent and experienced drivers in the ADAC GT Masters. Two drivers continue to share a car and fight for a prize pool of more than 570,000 euros.

ADAC GT4 Germany
In its sixth season, ADAC GT4 Germany hosts all twelve races in the DTM program. 11 teams with 24 cars from five manufacturers are competing this year – supported by impressive guest starters. The series starts at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. Two-time champion Mike David Ortmann, who has now joined the Aston Martin Racing team, proves that ADAC GT4 Germany serves as a great way of life.

Model Cup Germany
As the exclusive Le Mans model series in Germany, the German Model Cup is interesting. Spectators can enjoy the race series organized by ADAC and Creventic in three DTM events. Both events at the DEKRA Lausitzring (May 24 to 26) and Nürburgring (August 16 to 18) will be venues for the German Model Cup. The season finale will be held at the Sachsenring (September 6 to 9) – this is the first time that the Le Mans models will be at the start on the demanding track of mountains and valleys.

DTM Classic
DTM Classic offers a fascinating journey through history. Many car classes from GT and touring cars will be represented in the Norisring appearance (July 5 to 7). Fans can look forward to a magnificent selection of historic highlights from four decades of DTM. Even some of the stars of that time did not miss to participate in the two races in Monaco, Franconia.

BMW M2 Cup
As a new addition under the ADAC umbrella, the BMW M2 Cup is organized with a revised concept from this year. The BMW M2 CS Racing in versions with 450 hp and 365 hp as well as the 340 hp BMW M240i Racing are eligible to start in three car categories. This series provides a great introduction to a career in GT racing. The BMW M2 Cup takes part in all five stops of the season in the DTM, starting at the DEKRA Lausitzring.

Porsche cups to make one
Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany expands the DTM program to six events. With 25 drivers registered in their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and a total of more than 12,000 hp, the one-man manufacturer’s trophy guarantees a spectacle until the last corner. During the race weekend at Circuit Zandvoort (June 7 to 9) on the Dutch North Sea coast, the Porsche Carrera Benelux Cup will also be pitching its tents as part of the DTM support program.

NXT Gen. Cup
The NXT Gen Cup promises an electrifying tournament. In the Swedish series, drivers compete with the electric-powered LRT NXT 1, which has up to 230 hp and is based on the road-legal Mini Cooper SE. The NXT Gen Cup is aimed mainly at young racing drivers and gives them an attractive entry platform. The NXT Gen Cup will start at the Norisring and in Hockenheim, it starts further while the DTM part is planned.

European and Alpine Regional Formula Championships
The Alpine Region Formula Europe Championship is the only formula series to complete the 2024 program of DTM stops in eight countries on the series calendar this year. The DTM hosts the Formula 3 Championship at Circuit Zandvoort. There the drivers on the F3 T-318 chassis from Tatuus are fighting for victory in two races.

ADAC Ost Historical Cup
A journey into the history of motor racing in the former GDR awaits visitors at the Lausitzring. There, the ADAC Historic Cup East provides nostalgia with historic formula cars and touring cars.
