This Vector M12 (1996) with Lamborghini V12 is for sale

(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – American super sports car maker Vector is best known for its first model called the W8. With its amazingly powerful turbocharged V8 engine, fighter jet-like cockpit and ultra-slim looks, the car once attracted a lot of attention. But it wasn’t the only car Vector was built. There was also an M12.

Grow

Unlike the W8, which used its own bespoke chassis and powertrain, the M12 was essentially a Lamborghini. It was built when Vector was still owned by the Indonesian company MegaTech, which also owned Lamborghini at the time. That’s why they only used the extended one Diablochassis and a 5.7-liter Lamborghini V12 that was mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Despite its Italian roots, the M12 still looks a lot like a Vector. Its wedge-shaped nose, craggy doors and curved, wrap-around windshield clearly link to the original W8, while the triple-spoke wheels and curved body-colored spoiler emphasize its 1990s origins.

This M12 had an interesting life: it was featured on the cover of Wheels magazine and was driven by none other than Jeremy Clarkson for the Top Gear show that aired in the mid-1990s. Now it’s advertised on Leta Trailer. By auction. According to the ad, a lot of maintenance work has been done and the car is in good condition.

As the fourth of 14 M12s built, this is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire one of the few Vectors produced. Regardless of whether it is M12 or earlier, the most desirable W8. These cars don’t change hands very often. So if you have a gap in Vector sizes in your collection, we recommend you register to bid as early as possible.
