Ferrari-HP deal. Blue livery for Miami GP

Ferrari heads to the US with a package of technical upgrades and many new features along the way. Starting with a new ‘look’, which includes a blue color on the new version of the film and a collaboration with Hewlett-Packard, a technology company made in the United States. The partnership includes a shared commitment to foster continuous innovation to accelerate the use of target technologies across the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team, the Scuderia Ferrari esports team, and the Scuderia Ferrari driver academy. Furthermore, the HP logo will be displayed for the first time on the F1 seats before the Miami GP from 3 to 5 May: the team will start competing as the Ferrari HP team. The Scuderia Ferrari Esports team and the Scuderia Ferrari car that Maya Weug competes with in the F1 Academy, in the all-female series launched in 2023, will also compete under the new name.

In Miami there was also a change in shape: Cavallino rediscovered Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, in the history of the brand. Two shades of blue will bring to life the special edition SF-24 for the Miami race (and pictures of the pilot’s appearance have already appeared on Instagram).

The light-toned La Plata Blue represents the colors of the Argentine team’s cars, and was similar to Alberto Ascari’s livery in his most successful seasons. In addition, John Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini, Ludovico Scarfiotti and Chris Amon had overalls of the same color, and even Niki Lauda, in his first year at Ferrari, wore that shade, the color of the overalls of the Maranello crew.

Azzurro Dino, on the other hand, is the bluer color chosen for the suits of Arturo Merzario and Clay Regazzoni, who was the last to wear it in 1974.
