Chrysler Halcyon: the future on the big STLA? – Electromobility (e-mobility), car lessons, luxury cars and sports | Information | VISION Mobility

The Halcyon is currently still a concept: an electric coupé with four doors that open in different directions, including a roof rack for easy entry. It is on the Big STLA, which performance data of more than 600 kW (816 hp) is specified, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in the range of 2 seconds. And since Dodge will stick to the retro style visually, Chrysler should get points against Lucid and Tesla and futurism.

The battery capacity is between 85 and 118 kilowatt hours (kWh). Stellantis specifies the target charging power as 4.5 kWh per minute – which corresponds to a charging power of 270 kW. The energy for 100 km would be charged in about five minutes. In terms of battery technology, Chrysler is taking a step further: it plans to install a lithium-sulfur battery – but detailed information on this is still missing.

Visually, Chrysler relies on a very large “glass house” that can provide an airy interior – Peugeot is thinking in the same direction. The interior is marked by a high level of reduction and a retractable central screen. And of course Chrysler also relies on a lot of recycled materials.
