The Polestar electric car brand is finally arriving in France

Manufacturer Polestar, which has its origins in Volvo’s sports division, was one of the first to claim to compete with Tesla. The electric sedan Polestar 2, released in 2020, for example, has strong arguments to take the Tesla Model 3, especially in terms of technology and integration of Android Automotive OS.

However, the Swedish manufacturer launched by Volvo and its parent company Geely was not immediately sold in France. Due to the logo being considered too close to that of Citroën, the arrival of Polestar in our region was blocked by the French brand. But the end of these problems in 2022 did not lead to the sale of Polestar in France.

A variety of electric sedans, crossovers and SUVs

“Polestar is a first brand. It was not necessary to launch it with one model, which is also getting old. Only with the launch of the Polestar 3 SUV and Polestar 4 crossover this year, then the Polestar 5 sedan in 2025, would that situation be resolved.
