Dacia Sandero will never be an electric car. LPG and gasoline in the program until the end of production! | French.pl

Dacia does not intend to convert its European hit Sandero into an electric model – says the official representative of the brand. The development program includes more powerful LPG drives and gasoline engines, but not an electric car. Why? This car is available for anyone interested. Today it is one of the cheapest proposals on the market.

Sandero is an affordable car and its purpose is to provide mobility to as many customers as possible, say representatives of the Dacia brand. Therefore, they do not plan to strengthen this model in the next few years. On the contrary, they are considering developing the basis of combustion engines, which will be offered in gasoline versions and with the installation of factory gas.

Xavier Martinet, director of marketing, sales and operations of the Dacia brand, said that offering only combustion engines in the Sandero helped keep prices affordable for customers. “We do not plan to introduce power plants for our popular design until the market demands it. The question is: are customers willing to pay a few thousand euros more? The answer is: not true“- says the director.

At Sandero, we have no hybrid or hybrid hybrid to reduce investment costs, and who benefits? Customer. Decisions are the hardest part of our job, but I think it shows that Dacia is one of the few brands in Europe that can make bold decisions.” – he adds.

In 2027, the all-new Sandero will appear on the market, and work on it is already underway. However, here too, electric drives are currently not planned. Dacia focuses on normal driving for as long as possible.
