Luxury is not only good equipment

Dhe luxury Lexus is just around the corner. The RX 500h costs at least 94,250 euros, but unlike its cheaper RX siblings it comes fully equipped. Almost everything is on board as usual: head-up display, all-round camera, digital cockpit, navigation, mobile phone connectivity, real-time traffic data, Apple Carplay and Android Auto. There’s only an extra charge for a premium sound system from Mark Levinson with 21 speakers. Otherwise you’ll have to settle for twelve speakers.

The new on-board system from Lexus is based on a large monitor with a diagonal of 14 inches. The display is pleasant, bright, high-contrast and stable, the menus are well drawn, there is nothing to complain about. A large monitor requires your finger and uses touch controls. But the temperature of the climate and the volume of the hi-fi department are adjusted with a rotary control. All other weather features are displayed completely at the bottom of the screen, more information about temperature and ventilation requires switching to a sub-menu.
