“Roast like a chicken”: Tesla driver can no longer get out of the car after the update

In the summer, cars can be a dangerous trap, and not only for small children and pets. Sometimes an electric car is enough. American Brianna Filos recently faced embarrassment when she got stuck in her Tesla in the hot sun and recorded the incident on TikTok.

The young woman initiated a software update for the electric car while she was still sitting in the car. He begins his video with these words: “Man, I’m an idiot.” The update has been running for 30 minutes, with the car’s interior heating up to 103 degrees Celsius, or about 39 degrees Celsius. The reason he stayed in the car: a warning in Tesla’s manual that advises against using the car, including and opening doors and windows, when the software is installed.

Failure to do so could result in potential damage to the vehicle, a detail Filos takes seriously. “Maybe I’ll stay here for a while and fry like a heavy chicken,” adds the American. He’s also not using the manual door handles until the end of the update so he doesn’t damage his Tesla.
