Maserati GranCabrio Folgore: 760 hp electric in open air

The electrification of the Maserati brand continues, which after the Grecale and GranTurismo also adds a zero-emission version of GranCabrio, launched during the Folgore Days in Rimini and with Damiano David, singer of Måneskin, as a unique testimony. This new Folgore shares with its closed sister a propulsion unit made up of three permanent magnet electric motors, one at the front and two at the back, each capable of producing 408 HP. The combined power available is 761 Cvwhich can increase up to 830 taking advantage of the Corsa’s MaxBoost driving mode. The lines are the same as the petrol version, with a long front bonnet and a spacious passenger compartment that can comfortably accommodate four people. Through the rotary control on the steering wheel it is possible to activate the different driving modes available on the GranCabrio Folgore. There are four: Max Range, GT, Sport and Corsa. The first is designed to ensure great efficiency and extend the period of freedom. It is recommended when the battery charge drops below 16% and a nearby charger is not available. It reduces the maximum speed to 130 km / h, reduces the speed response and the power of the weather. There GT it is the default when enabled and is designed to ensure fairness balance between driving pleasure and comfort. Power is in this case limited to 80% and the sound of the engine is reduced.
