Acura’s Most Powerful, All-Electric 2024 ZDX Qualifies for US $7,500 EV Tax Credit; Now Available to Order

Acura today released power ratings for the 2024 ZDX, its highly anticipated all-electric SUV, and the top-of-the-line ZDX Type S – Acura’s most powerful model ever. With a performance-tuned AWD powertrain, the ZDX Type S delivers a maximum power of 500 horsepower and 544 lb.-ft. maximum torque1 – more than the flagship Acura NSX Type S. ZDX A-Spec buyers can choose between a single rear-wheel drive powertrain with 358 hp and 324 lb.-ft. of max. torque1 or the more powerful two-wheel drive configuration with 490 hp and 437 lb.-ft. maximum torque1.

Further enhancing the ZDX’s competitive position, the high-performance ZDX A-Spec and ZDX Type S are expected to qualify for a $7,500 Federal EV Tax Credit.2 (30D) which applies at the time of purchase. After credit, the ZDX A-Spec (RWD) has a starting MSRP3 of $57,000.

Starting today, interested customers can configure, place an order and get an estimated delivery date for their ZDX through a new digital sales process at each point. acura.com. This customized EV buying experience ensures a simple, consistent, and intuitive process from home or at the Acura dealership. The anticipated ZDX A-Spec and ZDX Type S are expected to arrive at Acura dealers in the coming months.

Additionally, the intuitive new Acura EV® mobile app enables Acura ZDX customers to purchase their electric ZDX online, track their vehicle’s delivery status and connect with Acura Concierge on ZDX-related questions via live chat, email or phone.

Advanced Charging Solutions
Acura offers ZDX customers comprehensive, advanced charging solutions at home and on the road, including access to America’s largest public fast-charging networks, Tesla Supercharger stations and EVgo and Electrify America (along with their roaming partners ). The ZDX has a Common Charging System (CCS) port and is compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NACS).

Additionally, Acura customers will have access the new IONNA charging networkwhich expects to open its first charging stations in the United States in 2024. A joint venture of seven of the world’s leading automakers, IONNA aims to establish at least 30,000 high-capacity charging stations strategically placed across North America.

After purchasing or leasing a new Acura ZDX or ZDX Type S, customers can choose one of three charging packages included in the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price. Acura offers a combination of public charging loans, charging equipment and installation credit to fit every buyer’s lifestyle. Customers will redeem the installation credit through Acura Home Electric (AHE) marketplace where they can access a network of experienced local installers, as well as dedicated support from expert Energy Consultants available to answer questions about installation, rebates, incentives and other home electrification products.

The new Acura EV® mobile app enables ZDX owners to find available charging stations, make payments, redeem credits, enroll in subscription plans and access other features at EVgo and Electrify America stations and those of their network partners. ambo.
