Ferrari goes against the trends – it leaves the exclusive V12 in its version

Ferrari has once again managed to avoid a reduction in cylinders in the name of fighting for standards. The Italians have just announced that they will not give up their V12 engine. The unit will probably be revised, but it will not disappear and will appear in the new Ferrari model. What?

A short 14-second clip shown on Ferrari’s website and social media shows only a few footage of the 12-cylinder and the bonnet, but not even a glimpse of the car. Therefore, it is difficult to say for sure that this is Purosangue, Ferraia’s first SUV. The spy films presented so far showed models with more quiet units under the hood.

Motor1 journalists suggest that the cars found in the tests are most likely to have a plug-in hybrid V6 296 GTB. On the other hand, rumors about the V8 engine in the version of the new SUV appeared on the Internet.

Who is right? We’ll find out about it soon, but the incredible clip may suggest that the top Purosangue will be powered by a powerful V12. This can be confirmed, for example, by the slogan on the Ferrari website about “changing the rules of the game”. Ferrari says the Purosangue will also be available in limited numbers, but pricing details remain a mystery.
