FIAT once again pays tribute to the 500 from 1957

Another good old version.

It’s not the first time that FIAT has given an evergreen take on the Tychy classic to honor the first 500 from 1957, but it’s still fun. The 500’s compact styling and appearance, as it first appeared in 2007, is still a sight to behold (in a world full of crossovers and SUVs) and forms a good base for this one. This year FIAT presents the Collezione 1957 based on the Hybrid. Although without a distinctive badge on the back, a clear sign of this honor can be seen in the small side window. The color combination of Bianco Gelato and Verde Rugiada with a silver line in the middle is unique. You can even call it limited. In the interior there is a badge in the tunnel with the inscription “ONE OF 1957”. The dashboard is finished in a nice type of light wood (wood first appeared in 500 on Riva version from 2016)

No goodbyes for now.

The FIAT 500 Hybrid is a continuation of the success that started 17 years ago. More than 3.2 million copies have now been sold worldwide. The introduction of the FIAT 500 Collezione 1957 is also proof that Stellantis is not pulling the plug on this strategically important model just yet. There were rumors that the FIAT 500 will finally hand over the baton to the electric successor from Turin at the end of this year. But it is also said that due to the sometimes difficult situation in the electricity market, everything will progress faster than previously thought. The FIAT 500 Collezione 1957 will also be sold in Japan, because the 500 has always been very popular there.
