Fiat 600 EV photographed during the production of the ad

  • Fiat’s latest electric car was photographed on the road in Italy.

  • The 600 EV is expected to share the Jeep Avenger platform.

The Fiat 600 has only been seen completely uncovered. Several photos of the new Fiat were captured and posted by user CocheSpias on Instagram. A sharp-eyed photographer captured the company’s latest Fiat EV while filming what appears to be an advertisement. Right there, in Italy.

This is the model that should replace Fiat’s luxury crossover. The model is now called the 500X, but Fiat’s own number plate hints at a new 600 name.

The style doesn’t really detract from what we’ve already seen from Fiat. The nose is very close to that of the 2024 Fiat 500e, especially with its light switch panel and LED accent strip below the headlights. At the rear, the car’s styling remains very close to that of the current 500x. Fiat went around the curves a little and made a few changes, and that’s about it.

Fiat’s 600 is expected to share its platform with Jeep’s first EV, the Avenger. We don’t have Fiat’s specifications yet, but the Jeep Avenger offers 156 hp, up to 400 km of electric range under the WLTP test cycle, and a charging power of up to 100 kW.

Although Jeep is trying to be a crossover like the rest of this brand, we don’t expect that from Fiat. The 600 is a city car, and its narrow frame and lack of off-road equipment could give it more range. The same platform will also be used for the Opel Mokka, DS 3 and Peugeot 2008. Fiat is expected to be built at the Stellantis plant in Tychy, Poland.
