A report by consultancy Jato Dynamics on automakers’ payouts reveals that Fiat’s average ticket is beaten only by Hyundai and Renault.
Fiat was the car brand with the most revenue in Brazil in 2022, with a total of $45.3 billion, but it is only in 12th place in terms of revenue per car sold, considering the 14 most popular brands. 1st place goes to Ford, which was only the 14th best-selling brand and 13th in revenue. Each Ford vehicle now has an average ticket of R$ 272,177.
Ford’s revenue per car sold is almost three times that of Fiat (2.5x). Among the products that produce in Brazil and have a large amount of sales, the surprise is Toyotawhich was only the 4th best-selling brand, but the 2nd in total revenue with R$ 39 billion.
Billing figures for car manufacturers appear in the advisory report Jet Dynamics, specialized in the automotive sector. Based on these numbers and total vehicle sales, Guia do Carro calculated the average revenue per vehicle sold.
Toyota managed to get an average ticket of R$ 204,072, while the revenue per Fiat vehicle sold is R$ 105,449. Another surprise in this position is Hyundai, which has an average ticket lower than Fiat and just higher than Renault.

It is worth mentioning that Ford, Mitsubishi, Jeep and Caoa Chery are not recognized as luxury brands, but sell premium products. Therefore, they look very good to be ranked. But if we remove these brands from the list, Toyota’s earnings are more visible.
Regarding profit, Jato Dynamics did not report it in its report. Therefore, it is impossible to say with certainty which of these kings is more profitable. Payment numbers are estimates. As for luxury brands, we left this space for a separate analysis.
