Fiat Punto (1995) – Enthusiast Wanted

Classic cars that have been old without much driving, sometimes want to sell for a large amount. This Peugeot 306 and the recent Volkswagen Polo have proved that. The Fiat Punto that you see here on your screen is not participating. With a NAP-certified mileage of 28,970 miles, the Punto also has very little experience, but it doesn’t have to cost a grand prize. The asking price is €1,449. Although a Punto like this can sometimes be found for less, you shouldn’t expect one with less on the counter to appear.

This makes it an attractive offer for the Fiat (Punto) enthusiast, because you can find something like this again. It’s also an ELX, which means it’s a well-equipped Punto. Check out those fog lights on the front bumper and power windows. What a luxury! The Punto has a 75 hp 1.2 in the nose, so it’s not the most blessed Punto you can find in terms of power. But hey, the block packs enough punch for the Punto and it’s an engine that hasn’t had to work too hard. Certainly not for a few kilometers behind him.

A look at the car’s history shows that the original owner had the Fiat Punto for no less than 24 years. The NAP report shows that the odometer reading rose very slowly during that time. Of course there is a chance that the Punto has almost made a very short journey and that is not necessarily suitable for the technology. In any case, the car has seen a bit more public road in recent years, because the previous owner drove about 7,000 km in the 2.5 years that the Punto was in his possession. That’s about a quarter of all the kilometers ever driven. That can also give hope for the condition of the engine hoses and so on, because they tend to deteriorate after standing for a long time.

Despite its low mileage, the Punto isn’t necessarily the newest we’ve seen in pictures. Especially the dent in the right door is a pity, but maybe it can be removed without much effort. Throw some love into it and you could have a really nice Punto on your doorstep for not much money. If you’re not a fan, it’s always an interesting PC car!
