Racing Exhibition: InterClassics Brussels presents a million-dollar line-up from Maserati’s 110-year history

From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2024, the InterClassics modern car show will return to Brussels Expo for the ninth time. This edition, the organization highlights Maserati’s 110-year history. Especially for this event, InterClassics brings together more than twenty models from the Italian manufacturer in the Heysel Palaces of Brussels. The cars come from various museums and private collections around the world and represent an extraordinary value. The Italian brand has a sporting record, including participation and victories in Formula 1, Targa Florio, Indy 500 and later also FIA GT1 and Formula E electric system. After setting three guest records in a row, InterClassics is pleased to present a new theme and poster in a distinctive drawing style. This shows the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder. This classic racing car took part in the Mille Miglia and Targa Florio several times in the 1950s. These legendary races have given many winners heroic status. Risking their own lives, the drivers drove their racing cars straight through Italian villages and on narrow country and mountain roads. Among car enthusiasts, this race is considered the pinnacle of the World Sports Championship of the 1950s. Due to a major accident, these events have been suspended. Nowadays, the modern variant of both races is still planned.

An arrangement worth millions
Especially for InterClassics Brussels 2024, the organization will bring together more than 20 Maserati from home and abroad. These cars come from various international museums and private collections. This gives visitors a complete picture of the 110-year history of the famous brand.

In 2023, Le Mans-themed cars had an insurance value of more than 60 million euros. With Maserati as the theme, InterClassics is once again bidding for sums running into the multi-millions. To reinforce the theme, InterClassics has entered into a partnership with the Maserati Owners Club of Belgium. Chairman Guido Danneel explains:

“The year 2024 promises to be a special time for the club, and InterClassics Brussels is fully committed to celebrating 110 years of Maserati. Thanks to this partnership, InterClassics visitors have access to exclusive Maseratis, which have never been presented. Despite its small size, the club has a collection of a unique collection of rare vintage cars that have stood the test of time with changing design trends and flying colours.

The club, known for its annual calendar full of public meetings, offers its members local and international events. A good relationship is maintained with the Maserati factory in Modena, and the club regularly organizes field trips, including visits to the factory.

InterClassics Brussels 2024 will take place from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November 2024 in halls 4, 5, 6 and the Brussels Expo hall. Classic car shows traditionally attract many buyers and enthusiasts.
